Individual Counseling (sometimes called psychotherapy, talk therapy, or treatment) is a process through which clients work individually with their therapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individual counseling focuses on the individual's immediate or near future concerns, while meeting the client where they are at utilizing a trauma informed approach.
Family Therapy is a type of therapy in which the counselor works with the family members to improve communication and resolve conflict. The goal of the therapy is to help family members identify how specific behaviors affect others, learn new ways of relating to each other, resolve conflicts, and open lines of communication between all family members.
Group Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that may involve one or more therapists facilitating group discussion with several people at the same time. This type of therapy is used as an opportunity to build peer relationships, share coping skills, participate in healing conversations, and build a community of support.
