Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured level of care for people who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but don’t require inpatient treatment.

It’s designed to stabilize symptoms, build skills, and keep people well in their community, so they can thrive at home, at work, and at school.

Is IOP right for me?
Our IOP programs serve youth ages 11-17 and adults 18+. We treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar spectrum disorders, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring stressors.
IOP is an excellent option for :

Individuals stepping down from inpatient or residential care

Those experiencing escalating symptoms who want to avoid hospitalization

People who need intensive weekly support (9+ hours per week)

What we offer

Therapeutic group focused on skills, support, and psychoeducation

Individual therapy (as clinically indicated)

Family therapy (as clinically indicated) to strengthen communication and support at home

Care coordination with prescribers and outpatient providers

Personalized safety planning and relapse-prevention strategies
What to expect in group
In our program, you’ll learn to recognize and reshape negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while developing mindfulness skills and practical coping tools to support your well-being long after treatment ends.
Each group blends evidence-based approaches—CBT, DBT-informed skills, trauma-informed care, and mind-body strategies—with practical tools you can use right away. Topics include:

Coping with anxiety & depression

Cognitive restructuring (challenging unhelpful thoughts)

Healthy routines: sleep, nutrition, movement

Communication, socialization & boundary setting

Relapse prevention and crisis planning
Goals of care

Reduce psychiatric symptoms and prevent relapse

Improve coping skills and daily functioning

Strengthen support systems (family and community)

Create a sustainable aftercare plan with your outpatient team
Schedule & commitment- IOP is offered at a rate of 9+ hours per week

3 Groups: Each 3 hours long. M-W-F (morning & evening availability)

Individual/Family therapy sessions: 1 hour per week or as clinically recommended

Psychiatric care: Minimum 1x pre month

Average length of stay: Approximately 9-12 weeks

Length of treatment: May be shorter or longer based on your needs and progress
