Something soothing and comforting with hues of blue and white like the sky, water, clouds.
"It's a good place for recovery I spent 10 days here and they have helped me put My life back together... All of the staff has been on track with My recovery and I want them to know how much they took part in My life... hopefully someone who is higher up in this place can let them know what they have done for me basically they All have part in saving My life..so why only four 🌟 coffee was a little colder one day.... gotta find something that was off.... All kidding aside destiny springs thanks for everything....."
“I've had a phenomenal experience here at Destiny Springs. I've spent almost 60 years interacting with people from all walks of life; several decades were spent as a practicing physician interacting with my own patients. I have been in healthcare for almost forty years and I've had a lot of exposure to both good and bad facilities and practices. Destiny Springs rates overall among the very best.

First, I'll speak about the clinical staff. Doctor Carr is professional and courteous, and highly approachable. What makes this facility additionally special is the patient is encouraged to participate in their own care. Medication adjustments were not simply done to you; The Doctor and Nurse team discussed it with us first. The nurses are also a strong part of the treatment team here. It appears they have been well trained, most demonstrate kindness and an affable nature. Always eager to assist, I found the Nursing team approachable and their warm nature comforting.

The Behavioral Health Technicians or BHTs on the unit are an integral part of recovery here. (staff names withheld) and many others made daily groups meaningful in a low stress setting. Many of them seem to truly have an understanding of many of our individual problems and offered insights that were particularly useful to me.

The Social Work team here is outstanding. We had an opportunity to meet with them on a daily basis and also work in group therapy with them. Meeting with us individually as well, we were allowed to speak about issues that we had in our personal lives as well as what resources we might need once we discharge from Destiny Springs.

My case manager was very helpful in assisting with my post discharge treatment plan while also asking my input.

The Recreational Therapy team provided an opportunity for stress relief and discussion of our strategies and tools for recovery. Recreational Therapy staff all did an excellent job encouraging us to participate while facilitating projects in every manner possible.

The cafeteria serves above average food and several of the meals were exceptionally tasty and nutritious. The staff always provided me with alternative options as I do not eat non-kosher. Hot coffee, hot tea, soft drinks, and a variety of juices are always available in the cafeteria. In addition, fresh salads with a variety of toppings were always available every day.

Regarding the facility itself, I found the unit and entire building to be very clean and well taken care of. The rooms and beds are comfortable; linens and bedding are changed regularly. The rooms are cleaned frequently. The common area is well organized with several games to play during non group time, as well as a television with a wide variety of programming available to us at choice.

One complaint, the air conditioning in this entire hospital is extremely cold. I can imagine this is done in order to reduce the spread of bacteria and for infection control. However, sweaters should be mandatory upon admission.

For those who smoke, we were provided with four smoke breaks every day and an opportunity to go outside to the courtyard to see the beautiful sky and sunset.

There was also opportunity to be in the gym and play basketball and volleyball. Our treatment groups were extensive every day, but I found them to be immensely helpful in my personal journey towards improvement of my mental health.

I recommend Destiny Springs unhesitatingly and with the highest affirmation for anyone struggling with mental health issues or addiction."
“I’ve been there 5 times and I don’t have a single complaint nurses are really nice and patient, the BHT’s  literally all of them are so nice they’re kinda like your best friends.
